I watched Armageddon. I got a head ache.
I watched Pearl Harbor. I got a head ache.
I watched Transformers. I got a head ache.
Michael Bay's work gives me headaches.
His knack for rotating the camera 360, 720, and 1080 degrees around a single stationary object should be outlawed along with his lens flares. He uses way too much physical comedy which is always executed through stupid side characters and way too much yelling. He also needs to learn pacing.
Unfortunately, I'm a sucker for well done digital imagery. And it's easier to see a film if you have low expectations (Eragon being the exception here, because that movie didn't even meet my low expectations).
In short.... I got a headache. And I felt like I just sat through the ultimate Transformers fan fic.
What was up with the disjointed slow motion shots in this one? If I wanted a slide show, I'd go to Flickr! And the weird "filming the shot at an angle where NO ONE CAN TELL WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON" stuff gets very annoying.
Still... purty 3D models of robots... *drools*
